Professional Occupational Development, LLC (POD)

ABOUT US

POD, LLC delivers training and consultation that is useful, informative, evidence based and fun!  We collectively have decades of experience  in our fields and as being trainers. We have the formal education, but we also consistently obtain more knowledge to ensure we are up to date in our practices.  We have empathy with you.  We have had children with disabilities in school, we have run a day care facility, we have been employees and employers.  We have been where you are.  It is our inspiration for what we do, and it has helped shape our trainings.

Our Team

Robert Sidwell, M.S.Ed, CRC

Robert has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) for well over 20 years and has a Masters Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Vocational Rehabilitation.

Robert has organized and conducted countless trainings to great reviews and emceed several events.  Robert has greatly enjoyed the teaching aspect of his career and volunteer experiences over the decades.

Some might be wondering what does it mean to be a CRC?

Put briefly, CRCs have the training, education, knowledge, ability and skill to uniquely work primarily with and assist people with disabilities in achieving their goals. It’s our specialty!

Robert loves helping others!  As a result Robert has received much recognition and earned dozens of awards along the way. Over the years, Robert worked closely with schools, Behavioral Health teams, Diversion Courts, employers, and many more partners to help customers achieve success.  Robert also produced and hosted the popular podcast "Coping With Chronic Physical and/or Mental Health Challenges" - which reached the top in its category on several podcast apps.

Robert believes in helping others and having fun!

Julee Sidwell, B.S.

Julee has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and has worked with children, teachers, and parents for around thirty years.

Julee is currently a certified assessor of child care providers in Idaho working as an independent contractor with IdahoSTARS.  Julee is also a certified trainer and has received rave reviews from providers.

This could be to Julee's positive, interactive and energetic style or perhaps because of her past experience as an employee, a manager of a large childcare facility, a provider of a small childcare center, and a preschool teacher.  Likely it's a mixture of both.

Julee is admired in her community for her work and for her volunteer efforts.   Julee loves being a mom and is a people person.  Julee genuinely looks forward to new relationships and getting to know you!
